Paul Pierce Hit With Bombshell Paternity Lawsuit: “He’s the Father of My Unborn Son!
Paul Pierce is facing a paternity lawsuit after a woman claimed he is the father of her unborn child and is now asking the court to order a DNA test to confirm her allegation.
According to legal documents filed on January 12, Princess Santiago — an event director based in Los Angeles — is requesting that the 48-year-old former NBA star undergo genetic testing to determine paternity.

“I filed for paternity after multiple attempts to resolve this matter privately,” Santiago said in a statement. “Paul Pierce is the father of my son, King, and I am simply asking for a paternity test so the truth can be confirmed. This isn’t about drama or attention — it’s about accountability and doing what’s right for my child.
Pierce’s legal team has been contacted for comment, but no response has been provided so far.

The lawsuit marks the latest controversy surrounding the Boston Celtics legend. In October 2024, Pierce was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was formally charged weeks later after authorities stated his blood alcohol content exceeded the legal limit. Pierce has pleaded not guilty in that case and appeared to deny driving under the influence, later suggesting on social media that the incident stemmed from being “old,” “tired,” and stuck in traffic.
As of now, no hearing has been scheduled regarding the paternity claim.
