Kanye West and North West Drop a New Track Together!

Kanye West is fully embracing his role as a mentor for his daughter, North West, in her budding rap career. During his Mexico City show, his first in nearly 20 years, North joined him onstage to perform her new track, “Piercing On My Hand.” The song, which references the dermal implant she got in her right hand, had fans buzzing as father and daughter matched their outfits in thick sunglasses and all-black fits, a mini version of something Kanye himself would wear.

While Kanye took a background role, bouncing onstage, North took center stage, rapping about her blue hair and rebellious, “bad girl” lifestyle. Earlier this month, she showed off her new look, complete with black grills and blue hair, on social media, captioning the post for all the “haters mad over a finger piercing.”

Despite North stealing the spotlight, Kanye has been making headlines recently for apologizing for his antisemitic remarks over the years, attributing his actions to a car accident 20 years ago. He clarified that his past behavior doesn’t excuse his actions, stating, “I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people” and apologizing to the Black community for letting them down. It’s clear Kanye is focusing on both his career and fatherhood, so we can expect more father-daughter moments on stage in the future.
