Taylor Swift will perform on stage at the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday
Taylor Swift is set to take the stage at the highly anticipated 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. The superstar, who has been nominated in six categories this year, will perform live at the star-studded event on Sunday, February 2nd. Swift, whose 11th album The Tortured Poet’s Department has garnered widespread acclaim, has also been confirmed as a presenter for the evening. While the specific category she will present has not yet been announced, fans are expecting it to be one of the major awards.
This year, Swift is nominated for the prestigious Album of the Year, a category she has already made history in. If she wins, it will be her fifth win in this category, setting a new record for the most wins by any artist. Swift previously broke this record last year with her 10th album Midnights, and this year she is vying for the top honor again. In addition to Album of the Year, she is also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Gracie Abrams.
With four previous Album of the Year wins under her belt—Midnights, Folklore, 1989, and Fearless—Swift has tied the legendary Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon for the most wins in this category. However, she still holds the record for the most Album of the Year trophies ever won. This year, she will face stiff competition in the category from Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short and Sweet, and Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft.
In addition to her nominations, Swift is still riding high from her global Eras tour, which wrapped up in December after spanning more than a year and a half, visiting cities all over the world. Swift also continues her journey of re-recording her past albums, including Reputation and her self-titled debut, in order to own all of her music.
