Trump Appoints Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, & Jon Voight as Hollywood ‘Special Ambassadors
President-elect Donald Trump has appointed three actors to “bring back Hollywood.”
On January 16, Trump announced that he has given movie stars Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone the role of “special ambassadors” to represent the film industry in order to reclaim “lost business” from “foreign countries.”

“It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California. They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!” Trump said in a statement on Truth Social.
“These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!” he added.
Sylvester, 78, Mel, 69, and Voight, 86, are all avid Trump supporters. In November 2024, Jon compared Trumpto Abraham Lincoln, while Sylvestercalled him the “second George Washington.” Meanwhile, Mel declared that he planned on voting for Trump.
